Ben Thoennes
Visionary
Leadership Philosophy and Personal Life
Ben has been our owner and general manager since 2016. He helps run the entire day-to-day operations, sets the vision, and leads the staff of Verde Landscape. Ben is a firm believer in the core values and their foundation within the company.
His favorite part of running a business is being involved with customers and employees and watching the industry grow. Within Verde, we think of our customers and employees as partners. One of Verde's strengths is cultivating personal growth.
Ben lives in Amarillo, Texas with his wife Amy and their four children. He loves making ordinary spaces beautiful. Verde is his place to relax and de-stress.
Natashia Parks
Account Manager
Professional Background and Personal Life
Natashia joined the Verde team in 2023, initially taking on the role of Office Manager before quickly advancing to Account Manager. This is a testament to her leadership, reliability, and deep industry knowledge. With over six years of hands-on experience in the landscape industry and an extensive background in office administration, she brings a valuable blend of operational expertise and customer service excellence to the team.
Her professional approach is grounded in strong organizational skills, clear communication, and a genuine passion for helping clients bring their outdoor visions to life. Natashia is known for her ability to manage complex projects with ease and foster strong relationships with both colleagues and customers.
Outside of work, Natashia finds joy in container gardening, exploring new destinations through travel, attending live sporting events and concerts, and going on off-roading adventures. She is a proud mother of two and a devoted grandmother to six, and she treasures every moment spent with her family.
Connor Kvapil
Integrator
Professional Background and Personal Life
Connor joined the Verde team in 2022 shortly after earning his Associate's degree in Business from South Plains College. With a strong work ethic and a natural drive to connect with others, he quickly became an integral part of the team. Now serving as Verde's Integration Specialist, Connor leads with a solutions-oriented mindset and a deep commitment to customer satisfaction.
Passionate about building long-lasting relationships, Connor takes pride in working closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions—especially when challenges arise. His approachable demeanor, attention to detail, and growing industry knowledge have made him a trusted partner to both his team and Verde's customers.
A proud Texas Tech sports fan, Connor can often be found cheering on the Red Raiders at live games. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, and continuing to learn and grow within the landscaping industry.

Daisy keeps daily operations running smoothly by supporting the team, handling scheduling, and managing administrative tasks for Verde. Her cross- functional coordination, communication and focus on organization helps keep the office efficient and on track.
Brendan Perez
Lubbock Production Manager

Brendan joined the Verde team in 2021. He is our Production Manager at our location in Lubbock, Tx. Responsible for coordinating crews, materials, and schedules to keep Verde's projects moving efficiently. Brendan is a hands-on leader with a focus on quality work, teamwork, and meeting project timelines.
